1:28 pm - Anyone else still writing?

evilbutcute
I just realized that there hasn't been any posting on this community for quite some time.

Is anyone else still writing? We've got 7 days to go if you include today.

Right now I'm at 31,901 words.

*sending inspiration and energy to all*

Broke 45k today. Since I only write at work on the weekdays I have three days to do the remaining 5k. I think I'm good. Just have to stay inspired...

1:14 pm - 20,000 words broken

lifeofjason
I kinda fell behind by writing only a couple hundred words on Tuesday and then nothing yesterday but I have almost three thousand for today so far thanks to a fit of inspiration from reading a book and talking with a friend.

Yea, inspiration.

Passed the 15K mark. This kind of writing is insane. Paragraphs are sometimes left unfinished, huge story gaps abound, I'm bouncing all over the story idea and I've written the ending before the middle. It's crazed.

I think I love it.

3:04 pm - Nanowrimo to Date

lifeofjason
Almost 15000 words.

I must admit, I'm plesantly surprized at this Nanowrimo stuff. Not only am I keeping up with it but I actually like what I'm writing. And I usually hate my shit.

I'm keeping pace. Whew. This isn't as hard as I thought.

But I'm still coming up with ideas.

Let's see how things are come mid month when I run out.

So I had this idea that I was going to write stories on a specific theme. I had severl ideas feeding that theme.

But as it turns out, none of the ideas are quite so interesting to me that I want to put them in fiction form and create a story out of them.

AAUURG! If I can't write about this, then what should I write about?

When I get an idea I can go for hours, when I have no ideas I can't even write a page without being thoroughly bored.

Help!?!

Passed 10000 words and the night is still young. I'm surprised how easily it comes when I'm not worried about making it perfect as I go.

5:35 pm - Nanowrimo Notes

lifeofjason
So far so good, just about to break the 8000 mark and put myself on pace for 2000 words a day.

I tried to go the whole story without names but realized I have too many characters for that to work.

But I am so far successful at absolutely no quotation marks.

Dialogue free, baby.

1,045 to be exact, bringing the total to 2,156 which is WAY below my target daily output but will do for now, I guess. I'm gonna try and sit and do more tonight, but we'll see...
